You gotta read this stuff, the man is off his rocker!...fighting critics in boxing matches, i saw one of his movies it was dire, the one with Statham...why did he do it?

Actually, some of fight scenes were pretty big and not *that* bad, but he's got a really bad rep....btw, did you guys sign that petition?

    ;)

Nowhere near as insane(or as good a filmmaker) as Werner Herzog:

Ah, in fairness now, nobody beats Roman Polanski, his wiki page reads like a hollywood movie script

People who criticise Boll have generally only seen one or two of his game adaptations or in many cases non e of his films before they judge him. Boll's non adaptation films are actually very good, with Tunnel Rats being one of the best films about the Vietnam war. Rampage which is released next year is fantastic fun and Stoic was an interesting experiment. It's next years Darfur which could really showcase his talents, it's a hard hitting and well made study on the violence in Darfur with many critics who have seen it all ready hailing it as a great little film.

For ages, I figured "Ah, theres no way he is as bad as his reputation...." Then I saw In The Name Of The King. Dire movie. Couldn't sit through it all. Then, the same thing happened with BloodRayne.

I'm sure I'll try out his non adaptation ones at some point, but I think I'd like to come across them in a Not-knowing-he-did-them sense so I don't start it with a "Oh, that eejit" attitude.
