Chnaging import reg plates

Anybody know what the procedure involved in changing an import tractor with Irish plates. Its at a dealers, english import and am wondering is there additional expense involved in changing over to Irish plates. also does it make it more difficult with tax book etc. Any help appreciated.

very simple process. look up where your local vrt office is, turn up with uk papers.your pps no .passport, and 50-60 euro. they give you a reg no.get it insured, then go to tax office and tax it.
