Hey J1 visa question

Hi im in a 1 year course doin business in ballyfermot college which could/will lead me to a few dif universities maynooth tallaght it etc

My question is since im intending on going to do a degree in sept and im in a college at the moment am i eligible to partake ont he j1 visa programme?

Would a copy of my cao application and a copy of the application to the Higher national diploma in ballyfermot college help my case?

No. I was in the same situation last year because I did a three year course and took an add on year. You need a letter from a college stating that if you meet the necessary requirements you will be offered a place on the course. You can try call one of the offices and see what they say. They might allow just proof of application but usually it isn't enough!

Well because I studied in the college already, I knew the head of department and he wrote me a letter stating that if I passed my exams I would be offered a place on the course. That was enough!
