Hi

Have a Garmin, and was just registering on their website.
Gave my email for both the username and again as my email
It then downloaded an extension for Firefox, which then restarted.
Bit odd that I'd type in those details only to lose them.

Either way, should I register now or on 25/02/2010, in the hopes of getting a decent free update? First fix was on the 26/12/2009

You're entitled to a free map update, within 60 days of first Satellite Fix. You can register any time you like, and then choose when to do the update.

I tried using the Bluetooth+Nokia6300, the nuvi doesn't see the phonebook except one or two entries.
Any ideas why?

I did have some look getting it to dial out to numbers in the dial history.

I've also noticed that it doesn't seem to know about the The Outlet Kildare village shopping center. Is there a way to check? maybe what I'm typing in, isn't useable by the garmin? I've tried Kildare village, the village, outlet, but get nothing back.

Also, any ideas about the phone issue I'm having?

I have same map version CN Europe NT 2010.10 on my 255W and it doesn't show Kildare Village Outlet Store.If you have the Mapsource installed on your PC,you can create a new Waypoint yourself (that's what I did).Only few updates on the ROI maps.

The Garmin only downloads the phone numbers stored on the phone memory, not the memory card. You can normally copy the entries stored on the memory card back to the phone. This is what i did and they then downloaded to the Garmin. Hope this of help.
