Or is it a characteristic of human beings in general?

Yes I hate it as it means hay fever and literally a pain in the face with sinus issues and possibly a migraine.

Hate it, makes me feel like getting sick, it reminds me of the smell of petrol stations. So no not eveyone does.

I love it as it reminds me of long gone childhood summers but as mentioned , it can play havoc with the heyfever /sinus problems of which I suffer

I love the smell of Friesian slurry and udder salve first thing in the morning.
    And fresh cut grass.
    Reminds me of victory.

People might think you've an unhealthy addiction to the stuff with all this talk:p

It reminds me of cutting grass, and I hate cutting grass, so no (I mean yes, no).
If there was ever a smell associated with nettle stings, numb and blistered hands from a vibrating lawnmower handle, general feeling of being covered in ick, it would be the smell of freshly cut grass.
