Hi can anybody tell me what hydration system is best for cannondale slice I have one bottle, but need more. Have seen rear mounted cages, but can't find one that will fit my bike.
    Thanks
    Ian

HI ian , i've just bought a slice and it came with a bracket to fit to the seatpost to take two bottle cages. if you contact a cannondale dealer they should be able to get you one.

The Slice is a TT bike no?
What distance TTs/Tris are you doing to necessitate more bottles being required? Or is it a training thing?
Have you considered the impact of additional bottles on aerodynamics?

I only have one bottle at the moment and thought if the bottles where behind my bottom it would not effect aerodynamics? maybe an aerobar bottle would be better?

Behind the saddle bottles can be very unaerodynamic. Depends on many many factors.

Bar mounted bottles like the below are getting very popular, going in dirty air, easy to access.

Ease of access I found was one of the reasons I ditched behind-the-saddle and I've tried many different types of mounts. I went with a standard aero bottle up front this year and will go with something like the above this year. (Probably, depends on testing)

HI TUNNEY I'VE TRIED A FEW FRONT MOUNTED BOTTLES AND FOUND THEM A BIT OF A HINDERANCE. I'VE LOST MORE THAN ONE NET FROM THE PROFILE DESIGN BOTTLES.ONE WENT OVER MY SHOULDER IN KILKEE AND I GOT COVERED IN VIPER! PERSONALLY I DONT USE BOTTLES FOR TT'S BUT FOR HALF IM OR IM IWOULD IMAGINE THAT THE REAR MOUNTED BOTTLES WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA FOR IAN. OVER THE 56 MILES SITTING UP TO GET A BOTTLE WOULD GIVE HIM AN CHANCE TO STRECTH HIS BACK AND TAKE A DRINK& I'M PRETTY SURE HE WONT LOOSE ANY SPEED IF HE DOES THIS AT THE RIGHT TIME. WITH REGARD TO THE AERODYMANICS OF REAR MOUNTED BOTTLES , I'M PRETTY SURE THE AERO DESIGNERS AT CERVELO & CANNONDALE DID THEIR HOMEWORK BEFORE DESIGNING THEIR REAR BRACKETS
