    I was stunned for a minute thinking that a New Zealand journalist had failed to place an All Black in a World Decade 15 (I would expect a NZ native to have at leaset 12 in there!).

    Then I realised it was a World 15 excluding New Zealanders!!!

    There have been a few of these List things lately on a few forums, and it's odd how few Frenchmen ever make the list. I'm the same mind you. Always struggle to fit them in. Mad though, considering they dominated 6 Nations this decade, beat the all blacks many times when it counted, etc.

    What Frenchies should make the cut? Jauzion maybe. Medard?

    Pelous should probably be ahead of O'Connell as well as Jauzion in the team

    Latham is easily the best full back. Wood the best hooker. Remember that he was playing for a poor Irish team and got world player of the year. I'd also have Elsom in there.


    Its hard to pick these teams but the certainties are Wood, McCaw, Carter, BOD and Latham. For every other position there are close calls.
