Dublin Bus/CIE photo id

I have to get a CIE photo ID for a monthly rail ticket. Does anyone know if I go to Dublin Bus office on O' Connell St do I need to provide my own passport photo or do they take it for you? Also does it cost anything? Thanks!

What is the exact title of the ID you need? Students need to apply by post. http://www.studenttravelcard.ie/

I vaguely recollect them taking people's photos there, but phone in advance. http://www.dublinbus.ie/en/Contact-Us1/

Note also the availability of Tax-saver tickets.

OR they can call into a number of locations to get it done on the spot. For example, TCD Students' Union shop which is on the left after the main / College Green entrence.
