Hey Lads, i found this Sapphire HD4870 512 DDR5 graphics card in PcWorld Galway for €79.97. It's over 30 quid cheaper than the powercolor branded card from Komplett! There were few of those babies left on the shelf, so hurry up gamers get yourself a bargain :D

Crazy price, less that 1/2 of what I paid a year ago for mine. Its a really fantastic card, but some words of warning from my own experience.

    1. It needs a lot of power, you`ll want like a 700+ watt psu and it`ll need two PCI express power plugs.

    2. Its a huge copper monster, you`ll need a full sized ATX case to fit it, and you may have a hard drive in the way.

    3. This probably only applys to the version of this I got, but it was factory overclocked and has can have problems with high end games with VPU crashes. There is a solution for this on google with Rivatuner, which basically involves setting the frequency to its default, it`ll be fine then.

I bought one just there in Carrickmines. The box was opened so I got a further 10% off of the marked price. This is my second one so just setting up the drivers etc now.
