Wind Potential 30th + 31st december - Gale force possibly strong gale on coasts

    the wind is mad here on meath/dub/kildare border, dangerous to be out and about, now that we can finally walk the paths we're gettin blown off them, trees are droppin branches, didnt feel safe to be under trees in the car there, force 9?

    Yes the seas are mad out there too, station here readin 53km/hr as the max gust but it's somewhat sheltered by houses when the wind is Easterly so i'd say it's a lot stronger!

    Its gusting at force 9 here. Right on the coast, huge waves being blown in, no protection, been like this since yesterday. Still lashing rain with no sign of a let up and seriously dangerous gusts. Feels freezing cold though the temp is 3.5c at the moment. You would think we lived thousands of miles from Tipp judging by the posts of snow from there and other parts, not a snowflake fell here yet this year...a strange country weatherwise!

    yyaaawwwwn... no sleep here last night in south dublin as the storm was setting off alarms all night :mad: Hope the wind dont get any stronger otherwise it'll be setting off more than alarms...
