The offers seem to be completely different in different stores depending on what they have in stock. In the 2 stores i was at the best offers i could see were:
    Soul Calibur 4(360) - €9.99
    Colin Mcrae Dirt(PS3) - €4.99
    Devil May Cry 4(360) - €14.99

I can't really think of many more but not much worth shouting about.
Bluray selections were woeful also and mostly overpriced.

Again, this is just in my 2 local stores so it could be better in others

They certainly are different prices in different stores, Colin Mcrae Dirt(PS3) is €35 preowned here and €49.99 new in another store.

In the Ballincollig highstreet store in Cork yesterday, off the top of my head, I remember seeing:

    Wii:
    Pikmin €10
    Tak €5
    Nights €5
    Light sabre battles €10

    xbox360
50 cent: Blood on the sand €15
    Mercenaries 2 €10
    Fifa 2009 €10
    Red Faction guerrilla €20
    Halo wars €20
    H.A.W.X. €20

That's mad, they had dirt 2 for that price in my local (ballybrack) branch. I was down there again today and picked up Dirt, which they had for 360, for a fiver and also Mercenries 2 for €9.99. Most of the preowned prices were actually higher than the new prices

Its as easy for them to just send the stock to other stores rather than have a closing down sale.

I know, some of the prices on the preowned games are just silly and you would think the that prices would be the same from store to store.

All prices should be the same in all XV stores, possibly just that stickers haven't been updated on the copies on the floor.

Think it's just Thomas St, rent was too high and they weren't making a profit.

Weird, because it's HQ that changes all the store systems to the same prices and it's just the shops who sticker the prducs.

I don't know what they're at, I got SC4 for €15, mate of mine in Monaghan got the same game on the same day and he paid €10, both are new copies

Xtravision pricing from store to store has always been odd. This latest sale just proves once more how some of us are getting screwed. I was looking at SC4 in my local store for 15, friend got it for 10. Same friend paid 5 for Dirt and when I had it in my hands in store it was 15. There was a few more items which were differently priced in the two stores.

As far as I remember, pending price changes are downloaded onto the system in the mornings, and they have to be printed out and processed.. then stickered.

Sometimes staff leave the prices for a day or and forget to update them so this could explain the differences.

On the recent offer of the Sansa 8gb player for €24.99, X Vision in Gorey wanted to charge me €49.99 saying the price had just been updated that morning, this was about 3 days into the offer. I insisted he check the system and he came back and said " yes that's €24.99 and we've only just finished putting stickers on them for €49.99". So it pays to enquire.

In this case it's only selected stores, not all stores have been told to change prices on all / same store products. I was told this by a member of XV staff.
