    Hey all,]
What's the best mobile b-band? I'll be living in the Booterstown area. As far as I am aware 3, O2, Meteor and Vodafone all offer the service. Are they all the same or would anyone recommend one over the other. I won't be doing much downloading and all I want is relatively fast, cheap (€20 per month) reliable broadband to surf the net and skype etc.
    Thanks in advance.

No, no, and no again. Skype will likely not work, or be very poor, though it could work some times. It could be relatively fast when you compare to what we had in the 80s (9600bps), then again, it could be even worse. It will not be in any way reliable.

3G should not be your first choice, unless you need mobility. If you have no other options, then I would recommend them in the following order:
Vodafone, O2, Meteor (or eircom), Three.
