    Hi lads,

Was thinking of buying a renault trafic/nissan primastar/opel vivaro in the new year. Has anyone any advice etc about these models? I know the gearbox is supposed to be suspect on them. Is there any websites where i can get unbiased advice on buying one of them.
Also does anyone know where you could find out about buying damaged repairable vans?
    Thanks.

I had one, gearbox went bang at 85k. My advice: don't bother.

    gearboxes are definitely an issue.
The Hyundai H1 is a good alternative. they also have 170bhp as standard and no reliability issues that I've heard of.
