Ebay Prices for Tags - seem very keen?

Been looking for a reasonably priced Tag for a while, notice on eBay that they look to be available for 200-300 $ and even less, reputable sellers.

I know Caveat Emptor is the golden rule but are those realistic prices at this time? Some advice appreciated.

thats an open auction not a buy it now

could go for any price, plus its in the states, liable to be stopped by customs and vat added when it gets here

Appreciate that, but looking at some of the previous history of sold items, and even allowing for VAT or customs duty etc, still looks keen..?

All the items they sell appear to be pre-owned.

On that particular item, it's used and has no mention of coming with box or papers. I'd say the low price is justified. If you were going to pull the trigger on it I'd suggested requesting a few more photos of it, one persons good condition is another's beaten to with in an inch of it's life :)

They have 100% feedback given by 2525 customers, that is pretty good, so i would trust when they say good condition it is good condition.

As for auction, what you do is do not, do not put in your max bid now and let the PC take care of it, this will push the price up, seat and watch the item when it comes to about 1 min before the auction ends, start your bidding, always bid with cents in it, eg €300.12 you will be amazed how many times the .12 is what wins as people tend to bet in round nr, or think well its now at €300 to much for me.

In saying that I don't know nothing about watches so can't comment on being good value or not
    Good luck

looking at the history i see a lot of generally undesirable (like the tag sel example), discontinued model tags and breitlings, mostly quartz sold at around what id expect them to sell for in $,

have a proper look through there isnt anything of any great value in there imo

    Thanks Guys for the advice.

Only new to the topic of quality watches so might do a bit more research first. :)
