Not sure if this should be here or postgraduate section but anyway. I will be finishing my civil eng degree (it hurts to say it) this summer. basically I'm uncertain about where I to go from here. Do I try and get some sort of engineering work (the chances of which unfavourable) or do I hide from economic reality by doing a masters? Any personal experience of doing masters say in UK? I was thinking maybe Imperial, Edinburgh, etc?

or If you were in my position would you stay clear of Eng and try a business orientated masters and try to get into that sector as they seem to welcome engineering based graduates?

basically I just want any opinion/ideas from people in engineering?

    Thanks

I've been talking to a lot of people from Austrialia & New Zealand and there seems to still be a skills shortage over there. Thats what I am doing once I finish my degree.
