    RTE One 10:35pm-11:35pm (1 hour ) Tue 29 Dec

In 1995, the residents of Ballycotton, Co Cork, were delighted to learn their village would be the setting of a Hollywood black comedy, set to star Johnny Depp, Derba Winger, John Hurt and Marlon Brando. However, after 10 days of shooting, dwindling funds saw the film canned.

Anyone remember this farrago? Should be worth a watch.

    typical Ireland....
Except for a handful of good irish films and ...(this maybe pushing it..) a few good shows (although i can't actually think of a single good Irish show but anyway) Is this all we can come up with??...RTE decides to make a documentary about a film that was never made....what the hell.

Watched a bit, had to turn it off the diddly eye music was driving me nuts. Sometimes I really hate RTE ..well most the time actually.
