Quick Opinion: Toshiba or Compaq?

Just wondering which ye think is a better build of machine in general and why..need replies in the next 2 hours cheers, making a panic buy

What models? Doesn't make much sense either way, someone will come on here with a tosh saying how great it is, someone will do the same with compaq. Unless we see the specs you'renot going to get a worthwhile answer.

forgetting about the harddrives, they arent important to me, the compaq has little extras like a card reader and HDMI, and its 60 euro cheaper, but the toshiba has a better battery. someone push me one way or the other..

I went for the compaq, 17.3" LED widescreen v 17.0" standard letterbox LCD and 60 euro cheaper :P

feckers in PC world wouldnt throw me any discount on a laptop bag so I walked out without one :rolleyes: managed to avoid the coverplan thingy

Sorry, i buy the Compaq over Toshiba, simply because it has a card reader and a HDMI post, the battery life is only half hour each way and the Compaq is better looking.
