I wasn't sure if there'd even be any money there for me, I'm a bit confused.

This is how it's panned out for me:

    (signing day is Tues)

Tues 15th - collected €408.xx, they said something about advance payment but it was all a bit rushed and unclear

I then missed Tues 22nd as I was away for the Xmas week with family

Tues 29th (today) I walk 10 mins through an almighty blizzard to find the Post Office closed...

I have to pay rent on the 1st, is there any way I can get any money? If not, am I due anything at any other point??

    Thanks

The payment for Tuesday 29th was in PO's for collection on Wednesday 23rd but with all the confusion about it there's a good chance it will still be in the post office which is open tomorrow Wednesay and also on Thursday (New Year's Eve).

Cheers, looking at my situation (as outlined in my first post there), do you reckon I'll have money waiting for me?

But nothing was different this year from the last 10/20/30 years. There is always 3 Bank Holidays at Christmas.

And there were notices in the post offices since early December with Christmas/ New Year opening hours....

In fairness you don't have much to get right to get your weekly wage. Walk to the post office on the correct day.
