    Hi all
I'm due to start my new job on Jan 4th (for a month of training) and they said that they would post out my contract for me to look over before posting back so it would all be sorted when I started.
I'd say it was posted on either Fri 18th Dec or Mon 21st (they closed for xmas on the Wed). I havn't gotten it yet and there's nobody to call until my start date.
I assume if I havn't received it by then, I should still go in?I'm just worried that something could have gone wrong!

I would still go in, but say to your boss on the day that you haven't received the contract (if it hasn't arrived). Then they can issue a new copy.

It all depends on how/when it was posted. Afaik (could be wrong though), during christmas week an Post prioritise christmas cards above other types of mail, and then they're obviously closed until today.

Worst comes to worst, you go in, they tell you that something has gone wrong and you shouldn't be there, you discuss it with them, they apologise and you go home :)

That's very unlikely though - if something went wrong, they'd have called you.
