Anyone know of any clubs around Dublin where you can go to practice on your own?

I'd just need mats n stuff

    Cheers

Can you be a bit more specific, what kind of training? What times etc.

    Ta.

You would have to contact the clubs directly, and the answer will depend on who you and your friend are and what kind of experience you have.

2 experienced, kitted out, respectable guys are going to have a better chance of being let train than 2 scummers boxing the head off each other with bag mitts.

As you can imagine insurance would be an issue.

I think anyone just letting guys train is being very foolish. I know everyone starts out with the best of intentions but if you pay public liability insurance, and every gym does (or at least should) then you are responsible for ensuring that everything under your roof is supervised and approved by you.

I know you just want some mats and training time but maybe some mats in the shed/garage and a bag might be your best bet. I certainly wouldn't allow any unsupervised sparring between two guys I don't train in my place. Rubber jigsaw mats are cheap these days.
