I havn't kept sheep for about ten years since i was living at home with my parents and now have a couple of acres of mountain pasture that i want to keep a couple of sheep on . I know that things have changed since the foot and mouth outbreak regarding sheep and tags but not sure what, and do you need a flock number ?

    thanks:confused:

I recently bought a small hill farm. I contacted my local Dept. of Agri office and applied for a herd number. No problem. You can also apply for area aid on the farm.
