Since there's one day to go and because it always causes controversy, does anyone want to make any predictions about who's going to get in who shouldn't and who'll miss out who's deserving?! I read that Rivers was 5th in the AFC voting, which is fairly outrageous and even though it happened before, I just can't see him missing out again.

He's a page that gives some of the voting figures:

There will be many shocks to be honest because part of the voting is open to the regular Joe and of course people vote for their own team players and those players they have only heard of. And of course its a popularity contest. All in all the Pro Bowl is no longer a good event but a whos who of popular players event.

Troy Polamalu is a great player, but the guy has hardly played. Scandalous - they should take away the fan vote tbh.

Same with Vinatieri - not even the Colts best kicker this season (having missed half of it).

Polamalu lol. I never quite understood why the pro bowl even happens. It's completely meaningless, nobody plays hard and the voting is a joke. This is even truer this year as its happening the week before the Superbowl so nobody from the superbowl teams will be playing.

Yeah the probowl is a crock of excrement. The All-Pro is where its at these days.

Champ Bailey no1 CB in the AFC? rofltastic.

Neither Polamalu or Vinitieri made it.

Surprising to see not one Bengal in there. Not too many other surprises. Vikings top the list with 8

Good to see Brian Cushing made it.

I've only had a quick look at it but I'm suprised that for the most part it looks reasonably fair! Disappointed Vincent Jackson didn't make it though.

    The Bengals were snubbed!
They have two of the best cornerbacks in the AFC

Just looking from my own team's perspective - great to see Mathis get his dues. He lives in Freeney's shadow sometimes and there may have been a reluctance to start to Colts at DE, but fair play he deserves it.

Stunned to see Jeff Saturday won't be starting (especially with Peyton there). Perhaps he's getting overlooked because of the Colt's running game, but he topped the voting, so the selection committee must really not rate the guy who's line has given up the leagues fewest sacks. Weird tbh.

Great showing by the Colts though. Not that it matters but it's good to see the guys get the recognition.

I actually thought both Titans Tackles would have made it! but none did! Not bothered but a lil surprised. Also I thought thought jackson would have gotten more votes than peterson this year.

Good to see Lechler and Nnamdi make it, but seabass was robbed. However it's a surprisingly got line up this year, certainly a lot better then last years.

They might be a good pair but Revis and Asomugha are astonishingly good. Bailey's still terrific too, if not the shutdown back of yesteryear

Yeah I dont know how a runner can get a 2000 yard season(in all liklihood) and no one from his O-line gets onto the pro bowl roster. Also with DeSean Jackson getting two spots-reciever and returner-does the second choice at returner or the next choice at reciever get called up for the game? And does Jackson get a double bonus from the Eagles for getting selected twice!:D

London Fletcher is the biggest snub on the ballot. It's ridiculous that the guy has never made it. He'll finish with more than 90 tackles again this year, more than 1,000 in his career, amazing for an undrafted player.

    Some horrible omissions as usual.

Jonathan Joseph should be in. London Fletcher and Clay Matthews should definitely be in. All of those offensive linemen from the Vikings is over the top.

The McKinnie one was funniest, guy had just been yanked for playing so badly. I'm a fan but he hasn't been amazing this season. Jason Peters shouldn't be anywhere near it, neither should Lance Briggs, don't really rate Gurode either. The Bengals DBs must have split the vote. Am delighted for Ngata though, should have been in it last year.

Can't believe Janikowski didn't get selected.

The funny thing is about the Pro bowl, the two teams that go to the Superbowl you will almost guarantee them guys pulling out of this. For arguments sake could you imagine if the Colts play the Vikes? That is a total of 14 guys removed from the Roster. Then you will have the usual suspects pull out due to "Injury". They should just abolish it.

Favre Vs Manning - that's my dream Superbowl. Just sayin :D

There's no almost about it this year with the probowl on the week before the superbowl
