duplicate songs on itunes / unknown artist

    JUst wondering if there is a good freeware program to eliminate unknown artist songs and duplicate songs/artists and also provide album covers....my ipod is a mess!

    There is a 'Show Duplicates' option in iTunes that will show songs in your music library of the same title. Just a case of going through one by one and deleting every second similarly titled song... long, tedious,boring but free.

    Try "Sharepod" (google is your friend)

    WYSIWYG interface, very easy to use, very easy to find and delete duplicates and rename tracks.
