PGCE - Another question if you could help!

    Hi Folks,

I've seen a number of posts on here, some of benefit but unfortunately all don't completely answer all my questions. If someone who has or is in the midst of pursuing the PGCE could offer advice I'd greatly appreciate it. Apologies for some of the old ground this covers.

    - I don't have LC Science (though B+ Hon's JC) or Honours Irish (understand will have to do the Irish SCG). Does this rule out the English Universities? If it doesn't can someone list what my options are? Secondly, same question in regard of Welsh and Scottish Universities?

    - Have a Masters in an unrelated area and a few years unrelated professional experience but from a cost point of view would someone be able to give me some help on any financial support available etc.? Recommendataions on colleges from a ranking(easier to get a job post qual.), cost, flights, social life, accomodation etc.?

Any advice or help much appreciated. Thanks
