    Is this cat or what??

the BBC's new Day Of The Triffids is the only thing I was interested in seeing this Christmas.

Others in the house wanted to see Late Late Show.

No biggie. Recorded it to the UPC box. 6% free space. watch it later.

only it wasn't really 6% apparently. that I'll call UPC about tomorrow.

But why is the Day Of The Triffids the only thing on this Christmas that isn't getting the **** repeated out of it????

I don't care whether it's good or bad - but why? is it just because I wanted to watch it??

Well, you didn't miss much. It was pretty abysmal. I like Eddie Izzard, but I don't think he was right to pull of that role
and the whole need to include guns, generally or him going around in a car with a boot full of G36s..hmm.
Some of the dialogue seemed dreadful.

I think even average/weak episodes of Fringe are probably better.

Well I thought it was excellent; great cast and well scripted. A great spin on a Sci-Fi classic.

I'd rather pins in my eyes than watch Fringe

Sorry you missed the first one OP but it's still worth catching the 2nd one tonight, if you can

just cat that BBC aren't repeating it.

I'll record part 2 tonight and just hold out for that sci fi will get their hands on it.

I'm sure they'll repeat it at some stage.

That's the second part of the 2 part mini-series.. OP's looking for part 1.

I missed it.. but according to reviews / Twitter, that might not be a bad thing!

    Sorry folks... knee jerk reaction.
Say that it was starting and remembered reading this tread earlier, so posted without looking into it at all.
