My son does tae kwon do in Killarney and competes with the Irish tae kwon do federation. I can`t say off hand I know of a club in Ennis but you could try www.iutf-tkd.com you might get information there but it all depends which martial arts you wish to take up.

Far as I know the choice is taekwondo or takwondo. One's in Banner Martial Arts, the other is in the Nash, and I see from your other posts that you already tried Banner. I might be able to dig up the details for the other one, but I'm pretty sure it'll be the same thing (ITF).

I'm afraid your best option would be to look in Limerick. Bah.

What's it like? I'd check it out myself, but I'll probably have left town by the time they open again in the new year.

It's actually a pretty well run club with a good bunch of fighters. Well structured classes and great trainer. Funny thing is you trained for a few weeks and quit because you thought after a few weeks you'd be a black belt. Even funnier that you have put your self down as an active fighter in the club months after you left.

charlie - the Warriors in Ennis produced an MMA League champ in their first year of existence, no mean feat by any accounts. The standard of their fighters seems pretty strong to me, maybe you have a personal issue with them or didn't get what you expected, but bad mouthing them on here is NOT the way to go about sorting anything out.

Why would another club in Ennis invite you along to have you sling mud at them on board a few months later?

So you don't want MMA, Karate or TKD...? I think you need to decide what style you want to study - grappling or stand up and go from there...

From the above - you don't want a standup or kicking style and you don't fancy ground work... Have you tried a Playstation 3? :D
