    Hi all, Not sure where to go with this post but here goes anyway.
    Today I come home and my heading is broke there is water coming through the lights.
    Will my insurance cover the cost of fixing the damage and secondly does it cover the cost of fixing the heating.

    Please help

    Your insurnace should cover any damage done by leak, and the fixing of damage once leak is fixed. It will not cover the actual cost of fixing the leak, just the making good of affected area.

    Hi Tyrrelld, as the last reply said the insurance won't pay for the actual repair of the leak. In my own experience with insurance companies you have to be aware that they are going to try to give you the minimum. That is why they employ loss adjusters to call to you. If you want to pm me I can give you the name of a company who will handle the insurance claim for you. I have used them myself and they are really good. It is like having a loss adjuster for the customer. They take a percentage but I think it is well worth using them, at least they know what the script is, if you know what I mean.

    Loss adjuster is a brillinat idea. Is there a min amount they should be brought in for or do they work on a fee or percentage.
