Tony Burke has been appointed Toyota and Lexus dealer for galway following the closure of Tom Hogan Motors. The company opened this morning at the same Ballybrit site previously occupied by Hogans.

30 jobs less lost is good news, as well is a Toyota dealer for the state's 4th city.

Will he honour all the regular customers who got stung when Tom Hogan went bang?

Hardly so he can count out those customers who will have permanently gone elsewhere irrespective of who operates the business.

He was the Managing Director of Windsor Motors and Tom Hogan Motors. Natural progression here really.
Tony Burke has a long association with the motor trade, working previously as Managing Director at Windsor Motors Galway and Tom Hogan Motors Galway
