    Hello Folks

Done my online checkin for a trip this coming weekend. Printed the boarding sheets off and noticed no passport details printed on them.
Definitely entered them in and confirmed all the details.

Rang the ryanair call centre, the girl told me this is a new thing which came in 2 weeks ago and passport details are no longer printed on the print outs.
She said its on the Ryanair website in the news section.

Anyone noticed this also and travelled ok ?
Last thing i need is getting to the boarding gate and they then telling me its a problem.

    Thanks

I flew yesterday UK -> Dublin and checked in online yesterday too. There was no passport info on my boarding printout even though they asked for them online.

I had no issues (except the flight being late again!).

I'm a long time user, use ryanair every week, and today I noticed no passport details when I printed my cards for next weeks flight. Phoned them and they confirmed that passport details are no longer being printed on boarding cards. Thats odd because I cannot find any reference to it on the news section of the website. Noticed the same issue for others booking from the UK to dublin, on this link http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=2162293.

Last week the guy in front of me going DUB-STN was almost prevented from boarding becasuse the ryanair gate staff said he was missing his passport details. He convinced them that that he had entered them but the details had not printed. So either this was a unexpected bug introduced into their online check in, or it was a planned change but ryanair staff were not told about it. My guess is the former, and perhaps these details will reappear in the future after they fix the online check in process.

Printed my boarding card for todays flight yesterday and didnt even notice there were no passport details on it!

Probably so they can fit even more wording on the pass to tell you what you can and cant take on board!

This is good news for all those people that manage to enter in detail on the booking form incorrectly. If they don't print the passport number then they can't tell you that you've got it wrong and charge you to get it changed.

Just printed some Boarding cards yesterday and again today for flights involving IE / UK and they're still definitely not on them.

    Same happened with me.

A colleague is flying to Czech Republic and also has no passport details?

Okay so I'm assuming as this was 5 months ago everyone got on their flights? :D

Just checked in for a flight tomorrow and the same, no passport details on the boarding card. Fingers crossed that's normal!

Yeah it is I have taken 4 Ryanair flights since March and none of them had my passport details on my online checkin boarding cards. In 2009 I remember the details used to be printed on it but they have since stopped presumably as so many people discard their boarding cards and this could lead to Identity theft as anybody could pick up someone's used boarding card and get their name and passport number.
