I asked 5 different mechanics and got five different answers, and five different prices, i already knew it was the heater plugs! one
"master mechanic" as he called himself had it for two days changing the heater plugs ( 1 hour's work ) and still diden't fix it, when i asked why it wasen't fixed, he said he could only replace 3 of the 4 plugs, and that the forth plug broke when he was taking it out, but two days later he slipped up and said that he couldn't get the 4th plug out atall, so i said " you told me two days ago that it broke as you where taking it out, now your saying that you couldn't get it out at all, he denied that he said that, im wondering did he change the 3 plugs at all and am looking for a mechanic that will extract them with me present, i rang consumer affairs who told me that there was nothing could be done and that it was my fault for not asking for a full printed estimate, if i find out he didn't do the work after still charging me i will post name and address of company, thank you.. any help would be appreciated.

If the forth one broke well then he couldn't get it out by a wrench, it can happen spark plugs too and then comes the drilling and tapping:rolleyes:
im not sure if there is a mechanic who would leave someone stand over them while doing the work. TBH I say he did replace the 3 of them but could not do the last one as he had broke it.
Your just going to have to get a mechanic to take out and replace the last heater plug. It can be done but will take a while.

You should know by looking at them if they are new or not and if he broke the last one then it will still be there.Want your wits about you when dealing with any mechanic until you get to know them cause some of them might do you up like a kipper.
