Would that be termed a "thread wh*re" or "Boards wh*re"?....so you're saying you create threads for, a reaction?, most views?, what is the motivation?

    It's a serious question btw :)

    The correct term is "Moderator"

I usually browse AH briefly before passing onward to another forum. The threads in AH seem to form a questionnaire, with people asking how you shave, what deodorant you wear, and how you feel about cats. As well as regurgitating the 'funny' or 'big' news of the day. :)

I, Richard Dower, admit to this practise.

Revealing ones real name would be a good thread starter.:D

What d'ya mean, 'create threads for effect'?

I create threads about random nonsense that pops in to my head, people can read it or not read it. :/

anything on the news is on AH
you here somthing on the radio and 10 minutes later its on boards.
or even better is google news or one of them that gets breaking news straight away.
about 30 seconds later there is a quote of it and a what ya think added...

I think if you exchange effect with reaction, everything falls into place.

Me? I'm not much of a thread starter.

    Only pro-smoking threads and comments.

The anti-smokers on boards are ****ing hilarious!

At various times in the Soccer forum I started these threads:

Why do you dislike Liverpool? (which was originally called "WHY THE **** DOES EVERYONE HATE LIVERPOOL?")
Man United: World Champions - Who cares? (which was locked immediately before I convinced the mods to reopen it)
Kiko Macheda: Football's future or one-hit wonder?

Frankly, the fact that I didn't even get an infraction on my record for any of those is baffling

Im very practical so Ive only created threads on boards when I needed opinions or advise on something. It would never occur to me to create a thread about............oh........something like the colour of the massive snot i extracted from my nose this morning.

creating a thread because you can is like spitting on the ground, why would you bother?
