Thinking of heading up to Antrim to see this as new years seems to be absolutely awful in Dublin/The Republic - anyone familiar with Lush or going? Any pointers on accomodation or anything would be handy.

i personally think that would be well worth the trip up. i've never been but i've never really heard anything too bad over the years and i know lots that have gone up.

he's still pretty good when he gets going and nye would be perfect for it.

Came down with a chest infection since Stephens' Day so had to skip it. The group I was going with went ahead anyway - said it was a great gig but that nobody in the club was actually from Portrush and they had all dispersed on minibusses by about 3.15, leaving our heroes nobody to chat to bar the PSNI and their dogs. They ended up back in their car by 3.30 waiting till dawn to drive home. A good one-off, but nothing there to justify it on a normal night compared to Dublin.

Zabiela finished at half twelve though, which probably affected the crowd.
