40"/42" under €600

Looking to get a TV for the TV room either 40" or 42" for under €600, the lower the better obviously

We will only be watching TV - mostly sport, maybe a few dvd's wouldn't be using to play computer games on.

Was just looking at Power City there and see two televisions that would possibly be ideal for what I am looking for, anybody any recommendations on which is better or any other televisions that would come in under my criteria.

Of those two, DEFINITELY the Samsung, LG, really are still very poor at LCD's, particularly black level performance. that Samsung is great value and would in terms picture quality would be better than the LG in every way, as well as a few tv's that would cost a couple of hundred more. Sound is usually fairly crap on samsung lcd's though.
