I was just outside in D15, and I saw 4 'objects flying overhead, heading dead west to east. 3 of them were clearly flying in formation, with another lagging about a minute behind it.

All four where a brilliant orange, lit up like jets on afterburner.

But why the hell would there be a jet on afterburner coming from the West?

They weren't airliners.... there was no sound. They went dim dissapeared as the went further East.

Did anyone else in AH see them? Or have any idea what they were?

    They were UFO's alright.
But, after failing to find any intelligent life, they fucked off home.

Seriously folks, this topic comes up at least monthly in the Dublin City thread, and no doubt quite a number of times in other fora. Do a serach. They're chinese lanterns.
    /thread.
