    I'm kind of bored of the festive season and was thinking of getting a few dvds out...Any recommendations (of any films out in the last two years??)

    Kinda a tough ask not knowing your own taste in film. I think your best bet would be to look at the top rated movies on Rotten Tomatoes for your favourite genre.


    Or if you just want a lucky dip suggestion, I personally recommend The Lives of Others.

    Inglorious Basterds. Assuming you haven't seen it.

    Gran Torino is a good one, too.

    Public Enemies is good, but IMO a poor mans The Untouchables.

    I'll leave it with that.
