Vista code problem

    santa brought a laptop this year. it is not connected to internet for security reasons - child a bit young to operate unsupervised.

    it came loaded with VISTA and the 25 digit code is on the sticker.

    Problem is that when the code is input, the laptop says that it is not recognised. Must we be connected to internet to input the code?

    Secondly, if we must be connected, we have a wireless broadband system (eircom) in the house. Where di i get the logon security code to logon the second laptop?

    Type 192.168.1.254 in your browser's address bar, On the left hand side you should see wireless then you will see the wireless key.
    Once you connect to the internet it should Validate itself. Then you can remove the wireless key for your childs protection
