Aer Lingus: changing destination in one direction only

    Hi folks,

The answer to this looks like it will be negative but the Aer Lingus site isn't at all clear on it. their itinerary change option seems only to allow me to change the destination of my outbound flight if I also change the origin of my return flight - something I am utterly reluctant to do.

For now, I'll assume I have to discard a leg or book some train tickets, but if anybody can show me a trick I've missed I'd be very grateful.

I'm pretty sure you can't: or weren't able to anyway in the past.

Have you called them? Sometimes the call centre can do things the website cannot, but don't pin your hopes on it.

Not yet - I need to come up with the best plan first. I did discover some conditions indicating that a no-show on the outbound leg would cancel your return unless you inform them first of your intention and that another clause could then be triggered. So a phone call is probably going to be required anyway.

Am having no luck getting aerlingus on phone so wondered if anyone out there have ever successfully changed flights in a similar way to this; Waterford- Manchester 24 Aug. Manchester Waterford 27Aug. I need to change that from (Manchester Waterford 27 to Munich Dublin Sept 1st) Have been gifted flight to Munich from Manchester to a special occasion and it is not possible to get a flight from Munich to Manchester to connect to a Waterford flight anyway.
