in jan 2010 every hurler will have 2 wear a helmet wats the rule when a player is taking a free 65 and takes off his helmet 2 take it just wandering is this allowed

I would think no, what if it dropped short and you don't have time to put it back on?

Helmet has to be worn at all times, even during training.
