As it says. Recently dined here on D'olier st Dublin and the food was fantastic. Genuine attempt at attracting customers, no cutting back on food for the deal, they serve what you expect!

Nice place for a romantic meal or just having a meal after your exhausted from shopping!. I was very surprised at the quality of the food and drink here, a thumbs up.

I have to say, I've been there and their pizzas are an affront to humanity. Tasted like a cheap, reheated frozen lump of cheese. I'd rather have eaten a homeless man's left shoe, which had been reheated and topped with cheese.

Avoid at all costs, don't be so lazy, and make your own food. I have provided a simple pizza dough recipe below which makes Mona Lisa's pizzas comparable like Sky News presenter Anna Botting's behind (reheated).

    Serves 2 (maybe 3):

    500ml flour
    15g dry yeast
    1 Tbs honey
1 Tbs extra virgin olive oil
    200ml water + milk mix (warm/tepid)

Add the honey and oil to the water-milk. Then add the yeast and set aside for 10 minutes. Once the yeast has reacted with the sugar in the mixture add the flour, in small batches. Once all the flour has been incorporated, knead until smooth, soft and springy. Set aside for 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Roll out, spread with crushed tomatoes and add desired toppings. Cook for around 8 minutes at 200 degrees.

Finally, eat, enjoy and thank yourself that you didn't go to Mona Lisa's.

I'd be more impressed if they properly proofread the offer before posting. Pearse is spelt with an "s" not a "c" - the offer looks good.:D

I have eaten here before. Food was rubbish. €20 for rubbish is not a good deal.

Very strange. I had the Four Cheese pizza and she had the Spaghetti Meatballs, all top notch.
When did you go? Mine was last week.

I've eaten there before. The food wasn't bad, but the service was very slow. Even when the place is empty enough, the service is very slow.

    Not really worth it.

Ate here twice, first time food was edible but service was slow. Second time the food was worse (burnt garlic bread etc..), wouldent go there again.

Are you supposed to take a camping stove with you when you go shopping, and cook your pizzas on the pavement?

    no need for that.

they used to have a very good student deal and I went maybe 3 times each time ordering something different in the hope of finding something that was someway nice,

unfortunately I failed, would never go back.

A pity as 6-7 years ago it used to be nice.

sounds like they need Gordon Ramsey in to get their place ship shape.

I've eaten there twice; the 1st time I regretted it, but decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and went back 6 months later (June '09), Just as bad – would never go again.

    :D

I couldn't agree more. Ate there once and it was probably the vilest food I've ever eaten in Dublin and that's saying something considering the stiff competition.

Remember the time we went in and thought it was special price (two for one or some ****) and it wasn't? That was horrid gay.

And you, cheeky fecker, asked for a class of ice for your pepsi.

I go there with people from work regularly - and always get the "pizza buddy" deal. i.e. cheapest pizza of two is free.

Pizzas are grand. Wouldn't be mad on the other stuff. Happy enough to go back for cheap pizza. :)
