Does anybody know of where to find reliable primary sources for the 17th century (for Ireland, England or Scotland)?

What area(s) are you focusing on? That will dictate where you look...

Pro and anti royalist literature (including propaganda, sermons and pamphlets... anything I can get my hands on :D)

UCD library has primary sources that will deal with that topic - try special collections and the history source material section.

The National Library is also a good place to look. The staff there are quite helpful and will give you advice on where to look.

Have you tried the CSP - they should have some relevant info, too, and should be available in UCD, TCD and the NLI.
