    I went to RBS in Edinburgh. Edinburgh is a great place to be for the summer...all the festivals are on, great buzz there.
    The work was grand, nothing you won't be able to handle.

    I didn't do any work with Access... there is a lot of excel though. I only had the basics to begin with so don't worry if your excel isn't great it will be by the time you are finished!They also have a piece of purchasing software but you'll receive plenty of training if you are required to use it.
    Other than that it's just the usual stuff, emails, few phone calls, you'll sit in on meetings, your calendar will be full! They have a big conference every year that the interns usually attend, you'll probably get to go on a few off site events.
    The building is pretty cool and you'll also have access to Gogarburn (look it up, the facilities are cool) people are lovely, plenty of social events... birthdays, bbqs in aid of charity, etc

    Oh and Powerpoint...you'll do a lot of work on slides/presentations.

    yip, did my work experience a couple of years ago in Boston. Very good experience overall, especially if you get a placement in the states. All of the companies are good over there... even though one or two of them will be talked about alot more than others. Just remember that it doesnt really matter which company you get as there all very well known...
