Itouch screen just went black.

    Hi, ive had my itouch for 6months, i was on it this morning it was fine. I put it down and came back 10mins later and it won't do anything. Ive connected it to the pc and nothing has happpend. Can anyone offer me advice. Itd be greatly appreciated.

    This may sound so obvious, but what was the battery state before crash? Plug it in for charge then try 10min later.

    It had a full battery at the time, put i connected it to a computer. nothing happened, ill be on the original pc later and ill try reset it.

    I had a similar prob with the iphone a while back. Try this.

    Plug your usb lead into your computer, but dont connect to ipod.
    Start up itunes.
    When itunes is running, connect the usb to your ipod while holding down the home button simulataneously, then click restore on itunes
