    Netbooks have USB connections so yeah, you can.

    Expensive/small - you mean CDwriter or netbook?

    Well here's a bog standard dvd burner:http://www.komplett.ie/k/kl.aspx?bn=10034 for 24 euro and an external closure for it:http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.aspx?sku=365630.Thats for 43 euro.

    Could possibly get cheaper on other sites.Try elara.ie,Maplins and Peats

    EDIT:there was also a slimline version on the komplett site for 30 euro or there abouts
