Hd issue, screen blanking .

    My dad asked me to post this for him.

    Hes got a phillips flat screen hd cleer screen 3
    and a Denon 2910 dvd player now and a hdmi cable i got him from, extravision.

    any way his problem is that when watching dvd on hd 1080i he gets a blank screen every so often for a split second then it goes back to the dvd hes looking at.

    Is this because of the hdmi cable or is it the tv ?
    any ideas would be great :)
