Help, Bad date aftermath

    Right, went on a date with a girl. Went really bad and have no interest in this girl. I told her that it was not going to work and all we could be is friends. She said this was fine and she world love to be friends.
    Since then she has texted me numerous times and it's obvious she wants to be more than friends. She seems good natured and maybe a bit innocent so I don't want to hurt her.
    What do you guys think I should do?

    Be to the point and tell her its not going to happen. Don't give her any reason to think it might, esp if its not going to!

    It will hurt her in the short, but will save her the pain and embarrassment in the long run.

    If you never really want to see her again then tell her how ugly she is.

    Just tell her that it won't happen ever. You do not and will never ever be in love with her. That should transmit the message clearly.

    Just tell her shes not your type, or else just ignore her, not the nicest thing to do but its better then what Johnny Giles is telling you to do!

    Don't worry, I wouldn't do that to a girl. Her texts have loads of xxx and all that crap. I just need to decide if I should ignore or if I should text back being very blunt and to the point.

    Explain the situation and cut contact.
    It doesnt seem that can she can be friends with you, without hurting herself.

    Just tell her straight out that there's no hope of a relationship or anything physical happening. If she persists with the flirty texts then just ignore her id say.
