I have a Philip's 37pfl560 ,there is no physical manual with TV just on the tv itself, I got as far as adding console to the tv on the tv itself but even though I have wii connected and I have ntl switched off. I have the 3 wires white, red yellow stuck into the tv and the other end into the wii.all that appears on tv when ntl is of is game console and it appears to be on ext 2.But nothing else my kids are just looking at me as though I am stupid that I can't get it to work, disk is in.
On an old tv you could just pick av1 or av2 and watch or play whatever you added, I have turned tv on and off but still nothing, any ideas thnaks

Make sure that your pluging the leads into the side of the tv (match colour with colour) then use the source button to pick the source its not ext 1,2 or 3 or hdmi 1,2 or 3 so which ever one is left.

Do you have the mains plug for the Wii plugged into a wall socket?
