    Hi guys,

    Hoping someone can help me. I just got a new ps3 today but I cant get it to work on any tv in the house?

    Should it just appear on one of the av channels?

    Ive a feeling im doing something stupid but i cant figure out what it is. Cable is correct in back of tv and ps3.

    Why wont the tv show the games? The ps is on and i have a green light so it looks fine, there's a game in it too.

    Im depressed at this stage.

    Any ideas?

    What type of cable are you using? HDMI? Component? Composite?. It should auto detect the cable the first time you use it but you have to have it on the right channel.

    Are you sure you checked all the channels.

    I've tried that - holding down on the power button until it beeps. Still nothing.

    Ive tried it on three different tvs. The one in my room here is a PCL? Sorry Im not sure of the model or anything. Its relatively new though, even if a bit cheap.

    I have the standard cable that comes with the ps3. It plugs into the back left of the ps. Im stumped.

    oh make sure the coulered jacks match to the coloured slots on your tv

    ok, so they were correct but I took them out and put them back in again and I think its ok now. The game is loading.

    I cant understand what I did differently this time but its working so thats the main thing!!!

    If you can get a HDMI cable , don't pay ridiculous money.
    Argos do a gold end/tip for a good price .
