Speed bug has it Ruined for now

Over the last few nights been getting more and more frustrated with these guys flying around the map with the knife out slicing you faster than you can shoot them . Thought it was just me getting too old ( that is still true but ) , turns out it is a speed bug . Ruining the game for now for me .

Should be easily fixed with a patch.Could never understand cheating but hey thats me.

Speed bug aint ruined it,lack of dedi servers ruined this game from the off

The change from a user selected server/map on FFA has got to be the decision of a complete idiot or perhaps more than one timesharing a single braincell. As for the no-life lusers who use the speed bug, it just messes up the game. With no control over kicking such idiots, IW has just created the perfect environment for these lusers. One potential way to deal with it is to daisy chain claymores.

Right, first things first... its not a Cheat
Granted it is ****ing annoying, but its not a cheat!
its also possible to do on any console

The game has the ability to enable:
Marathan Pro
Lightweight Pro
and Commando Pro

Ad to this the care package exploit and its actually pretty clever....

It might not be a treat - but it is a bug - same as javelin glitch was a bug and not a cheat

Its not a bug, its an exploit! It was put into the game on purpose, therefore its not a bug. It would make sense that you can run faster with a care pakage grenade than a gun in your hand (realistically speaking)

Well this is the part I am unsure of , I consider an exploit to mean doing or using something that wasn't intended to be in the game .. ie a map exploit , going to an area of the map that the makers didn't intend you getting to but for whatever reason missed it .

So , have the game dev's made any comment about this ? , maybe it is supposed to be in there , this is the part I don't understand .

If it is supposed to be there , then it is neither a bug , cheat or exploit ............. doesn't stop it from being really annoying though .

I don't know if any of ye remember Tac-ops ( old mod for Unreal T ) , but this game really reminds me of it .. like a faster counter strike . Unfortunately some of us got old in between and now ye young whippersnappers are just too quick jumping all over the place , sit still and let me get a frag or two please .

Sorry, it does mean different things to different people.
What I mean when I say exploit, is exploiting the features already in place, ie the abilitys you unlock / setup etc

Agreed, as mentioned above.... its really really annoying,, just trying to make the point that its not cheating.

just like using akimbo 1887's with lightweight & Marathon..... ****ing hella annoying, but not cheating
