Over the past two or three weeks the back of my phone has been getting very warm whenever I'm using the 3G network, there has also been a marked reduction in battery life.

I have the phone (a 3G) about 14 months. I had always gotten about 2 days use from my battery, given the type and amount of my use. Now I am barely getting 12 hours life from the battery.

    Anyone else experience this?

its probably down to a recent app you installed.. some apps need push activated to work and are constantly draining the battery and working in the background. I'd remove the most recent apps and see if it helps.

If you go to Notification in Settings, you should have a list of the apps that use it - and the option to turn it off there. (I'm looking at an iPod Touch, not an iPhone, but it should be the same.)

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.
