I see where according to stablemates, the indo and herald,RoG was disrespectful to the english queen when she met the grand slam winning Irish team at a civic reception at hillsborough castle yesterday.Apparently,he kept his hands in his pockets while being introduced to the monarch. Now there are rag newspapers in the uk that would snarl their teeth at their perceived lack of respect, but not a dickey bird. Are our esteemed "quality"newspapers trying to curry favour with the monarch?Maybe sir tony wants a higher title?

    Sweet Jehovah, not this again.

And besides, around ageing German monarchs, who doesn't feel like having a good old fumble?

Sorry. Did this not happen months ago or am I missing something
And by the way he was totally rude to the Queen. When Martin Johnson did to Mary McAleese in Lansdowne Rd the country went nuts.

Exactly the same kind of rude obnoxious behaviuor. I wouldn't expect any better from O Gara anyway.

If it's any consolation, a few lads from our team met the Irish team after the SA game ( they won the trip and after match meet and greet), they all found him rude too. So maybe it wasnt just special treatment for the Queens?

This is ancient news, and in my opinion, had no point being raised on the rugby forum previously let alone again. What about some Christmas spirit and less **** stirring? I don't know why Bugnug you wouldn't expect any better of ROG - what have you got against him - cop on ffs!

He wasn't rude, he shook the woman's hand and said it was on honour to greet/meet her! He was just caught in a photo with his hand's thrown quickly in his pockets. Just look at the video on youtube, his hands were in his pockets for about 4/5 seconds.
